Why we offer a flat rate?

Many firms, whether they be Solicitors or Conveyancers charge a base price plus disbursements. A disbursement is a cost or a charge, and the reality is, it allows them to charge you whatever applies to the job. It may not be your fault that the Bank loses your Title or mortgage documents, so why are you charged $1200 when you were expecting $400 to $550? If you asked a Conveyancer or Solicitor 'how much', and they answered 'as much as we see fit' would you be okay with that?

We offer a flat fee so you know where you stand, and can budget accordingly. If it costs us a bit more, we will wear it.

Freedom Conveyancing takes the view that if you don't end up selling the property, or if you sign a contract subject to obtaining finance approval, selling another property or obtaining a building or pest report, and you find yourself not in a position to proceed, we charge nothing.
